Gallery Visits, Workshops and Trips

Having access to Galleries, museums and art workshops are an essential part of art education.  I organise and run a variety of trips to Art Galleries and Museums, as well as co-ordinating and arranging visiting artist workshops and life drawing classes.  Here are some examples...

A Level Life Drawing Workshops

Life Drawing is an essential skill for students to learn.  Drawing from life is a completely different experience; one must consider and observe the form in 3 dimensions, accounting for depth and movement. I have organised and run annual trips for A Level students (and staff) to take part in a life drawing workshop in Bangkok.

Gallery Visits

Seeing real artwork in person is essential for the students to form opinions and gain inspiration for their own work.  I organise gallery and museum trips for KS4 and 5 where they can gather research and ideas for their exam and coursework projects.

Artist Workshop Visits

I have organised artist visits where students get the opportunity to explore the artists work and processes through practical workshops.
